Khairpur Sharif, formerly known as Khardehr, is a village and union council in the Kahoun Valley of Kallar Kahar Tehsil, Chakwal District, Punjab. Nestled in the Salt Range at an elevation of approximately 800 meters, it lies about 10 kilometers east of the Kallar Kahar motorway interchange along the road to Choa Saiden Shah. Traditionally, its residents have worked in agriculture and served in the military, but over time many have diversified into education, healthcare, and business. One of its notable features is the DG Khan Cement plant, which adds industrial significance to the area. The community enjoys a moderate climate, scenic landscapes, and a strong cultural identity.
